A Rare Glimpse into the Art of Film

Grosse Pointe South High School alumnus and cinematographer, John Guleserian, turned Sundance Film Festival winner, spoke to the community at Cleminson Hall Tuesday night.
Crediting South's TV production program and his mentor, Dr. Julie Corbett, Guleserain answered questions from a standing room only audience on his immpressive resume and experiences in filming "Like Crazy". The independent film was released in movie theaters around the country on Friday, Nov 11. The Grosse Pointe Foundation for Public Education who co-hosted the event with the Grosse Pointe Public Library, presented Guleserian with their "Pillars of Excellence" award.
